O – Observed value

E – Expected value. Before the experiment you can figure out what data is expected in your experiment.

Null hypothesis

H0 : There is no significant difference between observed values and expected values

Confidence Interval and Probability level.

In most experiments, 5% probability level is used. That means a 95% confidence interval. You can use a different probability level like 1% or 10% probability based on the errors you expect in the test.

What is 95% confidence interval?

95% confident, or simply saying 95% sure, that you are accepting or rejecting your value.
